The North Queensland Forestry Hub is assessing priority issues to determine the various needs and opportunities to progress regional growth.
Funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, the Hub is seeking to fund projects that will help grow our forest industry through:
-
improved investor returns,
-
smarter management and utilisation of forestry resources,
-
traditional owner engagement and
-
a renewed community understanding and engagement in forestry.
The Stakeholder Workshops aim to gather input from a range of societal and industrial stakeholders through focused discussion in dedicated, interactive workspaces. This is also an opportunity to meet and engage with others in the industry. You will be able to contribute via group discussions and real-time submissions using the workshop app, provided on the day - all that’s required is a phone or tablet with internet browser.
Morning Tea and Refreshments will also be provided.
Registration is open until May 4. Due to limited delegate numbers, we encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure your place.
